The Listening Bridge Foundation, Inc. is a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to help individuals and families overcome barriers to hearing healthcare, auditory processing services, and communication support.
We believe that everyone, regardless of age or financial circumstances, deserves access to the hearing healthcare, education, and resources needed to communicate effectively and participate fully in everyday life.
Through financial assistance, educational initiatives, community outreach, and collaborative partnerships, we are working to build a future where hearing and communication challenges do not prevent individuals from learning, connecting, and thriving.
The Listening Bridge Foundation was born from a simple but powerful realization: too many individuals and families struggle to afford life's basic necessities, including access to essential healthcare.
Through years of working in audiology, our founder, Dr. Deanene V. Harrison, witnessed the challenges individuals face when financial limitations stand between them and the hearing healthcare they need.
For many, hearing and communication difficulties affect far more than the ability to hear. They can influence education, employment, relationships, independence, and overall quality of life.
The Listening Bridge Foundation was established with the belief that financial circumstances should not determine a person's opportunity to hear, communicate, learn, and thrive.
Our goal is to help bridge the gap between those who need hearing and communication healthcare and the resources that can make that care possible.
Because access to hearing healthcare should be an opportunity for everyone, not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it.
